About The Brand
AMBICA is a Kenyan 3rd generation ICT solutions & products provider serving the East African market. They offer full-service information technology (I.T) solutions that help drive business success.
The Challenge
When their business was disrupted by the pandemic leading to fewer leads and most importantly; sales, the director knew they had to make a change especially in regard to how the business is positioned and perceived by customers in their crowded industry.
Angling between retaining their previous identity and only implementing digital marketing strategies or totally re-branding and starting anew; we helped them uncover the benefits of a refreshed brand look packaged with digital marketing especially during a pandemic.
We crafted a unique and refreshing brand identity inspired by the family's spiritual beliefs as well as the business's brand name.
Brandmark Construction
The logo is a monogram consisting of the first two letters of the company name: "A" and "M" plus the Trishula (Trident) symbol. We chose to base the identity on the first two letters as they are part the first syllable of the word AMBICA and in doing so, we achieved a harmonious verbal and visual identity.
The Trishula is a trident, a divine symbol, commonly used as one of the principal symbols in Hinduism.

Color Palette Development
To emphasize the technological aspect and to better position the company in their sector, we developed a robust but limited corporate color palette that exudes trust and confidence.
